At Elevated Auto Detailin, we pride ourselves on delivering an unparalleled auto detailing experience through a meticulously crafted approach. Our professional detailing process combines expert techniques with premium products to ensure every vehicle receives the highest level of care. Here’s how we achieve perfection:
A well-maintained wheel surface contributes to a sleek look and promotes effective braking functionality.
Designed to deliver an exceptional level of cleanliness while minimizing the risk of scratching your vehicle’s paint.
Removes embedded contaminants that can dull the paint and cause surface imperfections, ensuring a smoother, glossier finish.
Enhances the vehicle’s shine and maintains a pristine look while shielding your vehicle’s surfaces from UV rays, water spots, contaminants, and minor scratches.
Surface preparation: An initial rinse is designed to eliminate loose road grime and brake dust from the wheel face, rims, barrels, and fenders. We then use specialized wheel cleaners and degreasers to meticulously break down and remove accumulated brake dust, road grime, and other contaminants from the wheel surfaces and tires.
Hand Wash: Using a collection of carefully selected brushes to not damage or scratch the rims is used to scrub the face, barrels, rims, lug nuts, and more. We meticulously wash each wheel, paying attention to intricate details.
Optional Conditioning + Protection: We clean and condition the tires to remove old dressing and restore their natural appearance. We then apply a high-quality tire dressing that adds a glossy finish and protects the rubber from UV damage and cracking.
For superior protection, we offer ceramic coatings that provide a hydrophobic layer, making the wheels resistant to dirt and staining while enhancing durability, by request.
The two-bucket method helps to reduce the risk of swirl marks and scratches by separating the dirty wash solution from the clean rinsing water.
Preparation: Our process starts with a detailed rinse to eliminate loose dirt, grime, and debris from the vehicle’s surface. This preparation step helps minimize the risk of contaminant transfer during the hand washing and sets the stage for a more thorough clean.
Bucket 1: A high-quality, pH-balanced car wash soap is added to one bucket to effectively lift and capture dirt without harming the paint. This creates a dense foam that assists in loosening and suspending contaminants.
Bucket 2: The second bucket is filled with clean water to rinse the wash mitt ensuring that no dirt or debris is transferred back onto the vehicle’s surface.
Pre-Wash Application: The vehicle’s surface is treated with a pre-wash foam cannon, giving the soap time to work and loosen significant contaminants before the hand washing starts.
Hand Washing: With a soft, high-grade wash mitt or sponge, we meticulously wash the vehicle from the top down. This technique ensures that dirt and grime are moved away from delicate areas, preventing them from scratching the paint.
Rinsing + Drying: Following the hand wash, we perform an extensive rinse to clear away all soap and residue. We utilize a gentle stream of water to ensure a comprehensive rinse without leaving water spots. To dry the vehicle’s surface, we use soft microfiber towels that help prevent water spots and reduce the chance of scratching. These towels absorb excess water and delicately buff the surface to achieve a streak-free finish.
Iron + Tar Remover: Prior to hand washing, we apply a specialized iron remover that targets and dissolves iron particles bonded to the paint, often resulting from brake dust and industrial fallout. The product is given a few minutes to interact with these contaminants, with a color change indicating that it is loosening and encapsulating the iron particles. After this process, we perform a thorough rinse to remove all residues of the iron remover and the contaminants it has lifted.
Clay bar:
Offered only in our Ultimate package, once a thorough hand wash has removed harmful contaminants, we use a clay bar treatment to further purify the surface by extracting any remaining embedded particles, including sap, industrial fallout, and environmental pollutants. We apply a clay bar lubricant to the paint to prevent any marring or scratching during the claying process. The clay bar is gently rubbed in a back-and-forth motion to lift contaminants, with periodic inspection and re-lubrication to ensure optimal performance. After claying, the vehicle is rinsed to remove any clay residue and dried with a soft microfiber towel.
Paint protection:
Following decontamination, the surface is prepared for protective treatments such as waxes, sealants, or ceramic coatings. A clean and smooth surface is crucial for the best adhesion and effectiveness of these products.
